Peter Lim, former SCDF Commissioner, faces 10 corruption charges for allegedly obtaining sexual favours from female vendors in exchange for advancing their businesses with SCDF.

The accused is Peter Benedict Lim Sin Pang (“Peter Lim”). He was the Commissioner of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (“SCDF”) at the time of the alleged offences.
2. It is alleged that Peter Lim had corruptly obtained sexual gratification from two female vendors and one potential female vendor to the SCDF on 10 occasions between May 2010 and November 2011, as inducement for showing favour by advancing the business interest of their companies with SCDF.
3. Peter Lim will be charged in Court on 6th June 2012 for 10 charges under Section 6(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chapter 241.
